Jiu-Jitsu
Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is offered at the YMCA with two sessions:
Gracie Self-Defense for ages 13 and older, and Gracie Bully Proof for ages 8 to 12.
This is a no-cost program for Y members only. Registration and regular participation in program required.
Self-Defense

Coming this fall!
Learn practical jiu-jitsu combatives in this adult self-defense program led by two volunteer coaches with more than five years of combined experience. This hybrid class combines hands-on, in-person instruction with online curriculum from Gracie University. Participants will learn how to use jiu-jitsu for self-defense without relying on striking, punching, or kicking, while building confidence and practical skills in a supportive environment.



Bully Proof

PARENTS MUST STAY FOR SESSION
Coming this fall!
This youth program helps kids build the mental and physical skills they need to respond to bullying with confidence. Volunteer coaches will lead a hybrid of in-person instruction and online curriculum from Gracie University.
Parents and kids will participate together in verbal de-escalation activities, confidence-building exercises, and games that introduce the basic physical techniques of jiu-jitsu in a supportive environment.
