The fastest growing sport for people over the age of 50 but all ages are welcome to participate. Pickleball is a cross between tennis, ping pong and racquetball and played on a badminton court with the net lowered to 34 inches. It's easy for beginners to learn, but it can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.
Monday, Wednesday & Friday - 7:00am - 11:00am
Effective self-defense utilizing hand and foot techniques. Students gain skills from white to black belt and beyond from experienced black belt instructors. The Y has 3 racquetball courts available for use any time of the day! Simply stop by and check out some equipment from the Welcome Desk, or call ahead and reverse a court for later.
For your safety, protective goggles are to be worn while playing any sports in the racquetball courts.
It's the world's most popular sport, and now you've got a place to play during the winter! Stop by the gymnasium and play some pick up games. All experience levels are welcome!
