YMCA Community Benefits Initiative Program
The CBI program is fully managed by the YMCA of Douglas County and sponsored by Umpqua Health Alliance. It is designed to increase access to fitness and wellness resources for individuals with low incomes, leading to improved physical activity levels, enhanced confidence in regular exercise, reduced stress, and overall improvements in physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

How to See if You Qualify
Bring the following to the YMCA front desk (Mon–Fri, 8am–7pm):

Your Current Oregon DMV Photo ID with proof of current physical verifiable address

Your Umpqua Health Alliance (UHA) card (if you have a copy)
Program Guidelines
Attendance Requirements

You must visit the YMCA at least 8 times per month to be considered for continued coverage.

Your membership will automatically renew at the end of the each month period if:

You’ve used it 8+ times per month, and
-
You are still a UHA CCO member.

Have followed the YMCA policies and guidelines.
Excused Absences

If you're unable to meet the attendance requirement due to hardship:

Be sure to provide a reason for your absence. Not all reasons are excused.
Membership Policies

All YMCA policies and guidelines must be followed.

Membership may be terminated at any time if policy violations occur.

• CBI Memberships are fully managed by the YMCA of Douglas
County. Sponsored by Umpqua Health Alliance
• All questions and requests should be directed to the YMCA

• Due to high demand and limited funding, there may be a
waiting period before a membership becomes available, or a
partial contribution toward membership dues may be requested.
